In 2012, we were appointed as managing agents for a site that had suffered for many years from long term neglect. The owners had been taken for a ride by the previous managing agents. They were being charged for work that was not done correctly, tenants' rents were not being paid fully or on time, the electric bill was not paid for three months and had been cut off. Whilst all this was going on, a lack of comunication on behalf of the managing agent meant that the owners were completely in the dark. 

 

We inherited the site with rioting tenants that were refusing to pay their rents! 

 

However, we are proud to say we successfully transformed the property into a profitable asset. Both owner and tenants were delighted with the quick turnaround. We took the rent role from £100,000 to £230,000 in under 12 months. Five years later the property is fully let with no gaps in the service charge, and the premises is completely profit producing. The tenants are all happy and look to renew their leases on expiry
